PhycoTech Sedgwick-Rafter - Counting Cell with Grid

The PhycoTech Sedgwick-Rafter Counting Cell with grid is an improvement on the original design using a non-corrodible ceramic rectangular frame and etched grid. The Sedgwick-Rafter Counting Cell is a standard counting cell designed for counting larger plankton on a compound microscope (up to 200x) or on an inverted microscope (higher magnifications possible).

Product Details

The cell volume is exactly 1.0 mL and consists of a ceramic rectangular frame mounted on a 1' x 3' glass slide.
Etched grid is 5 x 5mm
Cell dimensions are 50 x 20 x 1 mm (1.97' x 0.7870' x 0.04').
Coverslip dimensions are 24 x 60mm rectangle

Includes: two cover glasses, Sedgwick-Rafter Cell with Grid, and plastic snap-lock case.
