The dragon fruit is commonly known as “Pitaya” or “Pitahaya” a fruit from cactus species. Dragon fruit refers to the fruit of the genus Hylocereucs. The dragon fruits come in dark red color, pink or yellow colors. These fruits have very thin skin covered with scales with a tasty red or white pulp in the center made of fruit.
