These long-lasting, semi-cactus flowers bloom for many months from midsummer. Plant in fertile, humus-rich soil in full sun.

The pretty “ombré” coneflowers flower between June and September, dying back in autumn until their new growth the following spring. Comfortable in a sunny position in most soils.

Eremurus x isabellinus ‘Cleopatra’
The stately heads of these beautiful foxtail lilies enjoy a sunny spot in fertile, sandy, well-drained soil. The myriad miniature flowers are in bloom in June and July.

Lilium ‘Forever Marjolein’
These tropical asiatic hybrids flower in late summer when kept in full sun and well-drained soil, enriched with leaf mould or a loam-based potting compost.

Narcissus ‘Apricot Whirl’
The beautiful and unusual cracking daffodils flower in spring, between March and April. Keep them in full sun/ partial shade in well-drained soil.

Achillea ‘Walther Funcke’
‘Walther Funcke’ is a compact plant which flowers when grown in full sun throughout June, July and August. It tolerates most types of soils as long as they are moist but well-drained.

‘Ann’ is a strong-growing cultivar that flowers in February, March and April. The semi-evergreen grows in sun or partial shade in well-drained soil that can be loamy, chalky or clay.

Begonia ‘Fragrant Falls Improved – Apricot Delight’
The well-scented flowers of ‘Fragrant Falls Improved’ and double-blooms of ‘Apricot Delight’ make ideal patio plants or blousy additions to scented gardens. They stay in flower throughout summer and well into autumn, preferring sun or semi-shade.

Pelargonium ‘Angel Eyes’
This elegant pinky orange pelargonium likes well-drained soil and a sunny position. It flowers between April and October.
