Wallflowers bloom in spring and are typically used as spring bedding plants. Most wallflowers are biennial and are grown from seed the previous spring, and then planted out in autumn for flowering early the following year. You can also buy wallflower plug plants or bare-root wallflowers, for autumn planting.
Some wallflowers are perennial and flower every year from March to November.
