The objective of the Limpopo Agriculture and Rural Department for sustainable rural communities is integrated, successful and productive agricultural sector. Its purpose is to promote economic growth and food safety via sustainable development of agriculture and entrepreneurship.
The strategic objectives of the Department are to: facilitate the delivery of services; a sustainable basis for natural agricultural resource; improved agricultural production; safe and tradable animals and animal products; training and research programs in order to promote demand; competitive agricultural sector; and a skilled and empowered farming community.
