The cover is attached to a metal ring set on top of the silo and sealed to the tank wall. Once constructed, the Airhat is inflated with a small electric fan with a power consumption equal to a 150W light bulb. At full pressure, the Airhat is a dome which sheds precipitation and odour emissions perfectly.
