Who created grass?

Grass wasn't created by a single person or entity. It evolved over millions of years through natural processes.

Here's a simplified explanation:

* Evolutionary History: Grass belongs to the family Poaceae. This family has a long history, with fossil evidence dating back to the Paleocene epoch (about 66 million years ago).

* Grasses evolved from ancient plants: They gradually developed characteristics like narrow leaves, strong root systems, and efficient mechanisms for reproduction and dispersal. These traits helped them thrive in various environments.

* Natural Selection: Over time, plants with advantageous traits were more likely to survive and reproduce. This process, called natural selection, led to the diverse range of grasses we see today.

So, while no one person "created" grass, it's a testament to the power of evolution and natural selection!
