Seed subsidy schemes in India: The Government of India has recently started a National Project on providing subsidies under various schemes for seed production aiming to provide capital investment to the farmers for boosting it in India. Under these schemes, there are various subsidies available which are the credit-linked back-ended capital subsidy, which is provided at the rate of 25% of the total cost of the project which is subjected to an amount of Rs.25.00 lakh per unit.
