Marshalls has been quietly stocking one of the best outdoor and garden sections we’ve seen this spring.
We stopped by recently and found 25 items worth talking about, including rustic birdhouses, solar-powered lights, whimsical garden figurines, and even some solid outdoor furniture. If your patio, porch, or flower beds could use a refresh, this is the kind of haul that makes you want to load up a cart.
The garden section was packed with seasonal arrivals, so we took our time browsing every shelf. Here’s everything that caught our eye.
This birdhouse is made from real driftwood pieces, each one shaped and arranged by hand. It has three entry holes and a peaked roof that gives it a charming cottage feel. The tag says it’s made in the Philippines from reclaimed driftwood, which makes every one slightly different.
At $16.99, it’s the kind of piece that looks like it belongs in a coastal garden or tucked into a tree in the backyard. The natural texture is beautiful, and it would also work great as indoor decor on a bookshelf or mantle.
If driftwood isn’t your style, this painted birdhouse might be. It has a cream background with blue hydrangea blossoms all over it and a periwinkle blue roof and trim. There’s a chain at the top for hanging.
It’s handcrafted and has a really polished look to it. This one would pair perfectly with a hydrangea garden or a blue-and-white porch setup. Also $16.99, same as the driftwood version.

OK, this one is just fun. It’s a miniature red Adirondack chair that doubles as a birdhouse, complete with a thick rope hanger. The tag said it’s from the Lakewood collection, and the screen mesh on the seat adds a nice functional detail.
Hang this from a tree branch and it immediately becomes a conversation piece. It’s playful without being over-the-top, and the red paint really pops against green foliage.
There was a whole shelf of hummingbird feeders in different styles. The standout was a tall red glass feeder with a floral base, priced at $14.99. Next to it sat a gorgeous purple ribbed glass lantern-style feeder at $12.99, which doubles as garden decor even when the hummingbirds aren’t around.
There were also a couple of clear glass options with red flower-shaped feeding ports. If you’ve been thinking about attracting hummingbirds to your yard this season, this is a solid selection at reasonable prices.
These caught our eye immediately. It’s a 4-pack of solar-powered floating lily pad lights that glow in multiple colors after dark. Each one is about 7 inches in diameter, and they’re designed for pools, ponds, fountains, or birdbaths.
At $14.99 for four, the price is really reasonable. Imagine a birdbath or small garden pond lit up with these in the evening. They charge in sunlight during the day and turn on automatically at dusk.

Merkury had two versions of these solar cascading lights: one with colorful dragonflies and one with hummingbirds. They hang like wind chimes and feature color-changing LED lights that activate at night. The solar panel sits on top, so there’s no wiring or batteries to deal with.
These would look gorgeous hanging from a covered patio or a tree branch near a seating area. Both versions were $14.99, and the shelf had plenty of stock.
Another Merkury find. These outdoor solar lights feature a cluster of small metal orbs on flexible stems, each with warm white LED light inside. The orbs have a perforated design that casts a nice pattern when they glow at night.
They come with a removable stake for easy mounting in garden beds, grass, or along pathways. Solar powered, auto on/off at dusk and dawn. For $12.99, these are one of the best value picks on this list.
These Merkury lanterns come as a 2-pack and mimic the look of real flickering candles inside classic black lantern frames. They’re solar powered and designed for tabletops, steps, or hanging.
The warm amber flicker effect is really convincing, and because they’re solar, you just set them out and forget about them. These would look great flanking a front door or lining a walkway for an evening gathering.
Echo Valley makes these Windweaver spinners, and they’re mesmerizing. This one has metallic bands in pink, purple, teal, and blue that catch the wind and spin in overlapping loops. At night, a built-in LED light strand activates automatically to make the whole thing glow.
It comes with a stake for the garden and runs on a non-replaceable solar battery. At $12.99, it’s an easy impulse buy for anyone who likes a little kinetic art in their yard.
This lantern has a natural woven rattan exterior with a solar-powered light inside. It has a handle on top for hanging or carrying, and the wicker weave creates a beautiful pattern of light and shadow when it glows after dark.
It blends in perfectly with boho or coastal patio decor. For $16.99, it looks a lot more expensive than it is.
This is a large garden pinwheel from Echo Valley’s Windscapes line, and the petals are shaped like a flower in shades of purple, blue, and green. It’s made from durable, weather-resistant materials and stands about two feet tall on its stake.
The petals spin in the breeze, adding both color and movement to flower beds or borders. It’s a nice step up from the basic metallic pinwheels you see at garden centers.
These little ceramic frogs are sitting on lily pads with hand-painted flowers in white, yellow, and pink. The glazed finish gives them a nice shine, and the detail on the flowers is surprisingly good for the price.

This is not your average plastic yard flamingo. This one is a large, solid garden figurine made from painted resin. She’s sitting with her legs tucked under, wearing a jaunty little woven straw hat, and the expression on her face is pure attitude.
At $29.99, she’s one of the pricier figurines on this list, but the size and quality justify it. This is the kind of piece that makes everyone who visits your garden stop and smile. Easily our favorite find of the trip.
The fairy garden trend is still going strong, and Marshalls had a nice selection of mushroom-shaped fairy house figurines. There were a few different designs, including one with a frog lounging on a mushroom cap and another styled as a multi-level treehouse with tiny windows and doors.
These would be perfect for building out a fairy garden in a planter or tucking into a shady spot under a tree. The paint detail is charming, with little green vines creeping up the sides and warm-toned mushroom caps.
Handmade in Vietnam, this stone cat figurine has a peaceful, almost meditative expression. The material has a natural sandy texture with subtle speckles, and the craftsmanship is evident in the smooth curves and proportions.
It’s weighty enough to stay put in windy conditions and would look right at home beside a garden path or near a potted plant. Cat lovers will have a hard time leaving this one on the shelf.

This one tugged at our heartstrings. It’s a sleeping dog stretched out on its side, rendered in realistic detail right down to the fur texture and the soft expression on its face. The stone has a natural gray finish that will weather beautifully over time.
Place this along a garden path or at the base of a favorite tree and it looks like a real pup napping in the sun. Dog lovers will not be able to walk past this one.
Switching over to outdoor furniture, this solid acacia wood folding tray table is a practical and good-looking find. It has slatted construction with raised edges on the tray top and a folding X-frame base. The wood has a warm, honey-toned finish.
At $29.99, it’s a useful piece for holding drinks, books, or a small potted plant on the patio. It folds flat for easy storage when you’re done with it.
This wicker loveseat has a clean, modern silhouette with gently curved arms and a woven gray finish over a metal frame. It’s wide enough for two people and has a comfortable, slightly reclined back.
Marshalls had it displayed without cushions, but it would look great with a couple of outdoor throw pillows. The neutral gray tone works with just about any patio color scheme.
This tall woven planter has a beautiful natural texture and comes with a black plastic liner inside. The weave pattern has a slightly varied, organic look that gives it character.

The last find is another hanging basket, this time overflowing with faux white flowers and green trailing foliage. It hangs from a classic black chain and has a coconut fiber liner basket that completes the realistic look.
Hang this on a front porch and your neighbors will think you have the greenest thumb on the block. The white flowers are bright and cheerful without being overwhelming, and the trailing vines add a nice cascade effect.
